First released in 1999, the 1000 embodied the era’s bold, futuristic styling with a streamlined, yet intricate design. While the recently reissued silhouette is getting updated in modern colorways, South Korean streetwear brand, thisisneverthat, looks back to the original M1000 for inspiration, applying the colors and materials reflective of that time. Reddish-orange synthetic trim and embroidered accents outline bold, metallic-colored overlays, while large-holed, white mesh underlays span across the upper. The segmented sole unit features ABZORB cushioning and a Stability Web midfoot shank, and co-branded details finish the collaborative design.
